Volunteer With Us
Can you give two hours a week to befriend an autistic adult and help enrich lives?
By volunteering with us you will become part of an award winning charity. Our volunteers give their time and effort to make an incredible difference to the lives of autistic adults within Bolton, alleviating loneliness, building confidence and improving mental health. In June 2020, in recognition of the difference our volunteers make, BAAS was granted The Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service.
Become a Befriender
We are now recruiting volunteer befrienders to become part of the BAAS family and would love to hear from YOU! By becoming a befriender with BAAS you will work closely with autistic adults and their families, exploring what the befriended wants in order to achieve their aspirations and maintain a sense of wellbeing.
Volunteers are provided with out of pocket expenses upon production of valid receipts, as well as receiving professional training and ongoing support to help you undertake your role.
If you are interested in becoming a befriender and would like to find out more, please contact Vicky, our Befriending Plus Service Coordinator, by completing the form below:-
